Relaxing isn’t hard for some people, but try and tell that to their muscles. Muscles are going to react according to how they’re being treated, so if they’re being overworked they’re going to be much tighter and more painful than they usually would be. Work this action into your work out regime (or even your sports regime) and you’ll see results almost immediately, when you go a long time without having your strained muscles treated you can actually get used to the feeling.
